The Savinja River is born in the form of Rinka Waterfall in the Logar Valley, arguably the most scenic valley in Slovenia. It then flows towards the south through a spectacular gorge, a true masterpiece that it carved over the millennia. This narrow, remarkable place prides itself with “Igla” or the needle, a that looms over the river, almost defying gravity. This sport has become a popular destination for avid rock climbers.
